The characteristic of negotiation between GM and UAW is Win-Lose, where one party gains where other party loses. Here, there are many instances where one party ends up with an unsatisfactory result and the other party gains. The conflict is basically between the employees of the organization and the management of the organization. Such kind of conflict can be categorized as ‘industrial conflict’ that is happening between the employees/ representative of employees and management body.
